The Future of Rowster Coffee

Our customers understand that a great cup of coffee is like art—the expression of a culture, conscious of its history, environment, and people.  When you order the Costa Rica Terrazu or the new EVO Honduras, you are supporting the arts.

After all, great coffee doesn’t come from a factory.  Each step is important to the next—the care of the soil and the workers; the processingand how it effects the beans freshness and flavor; selecting the best roast profile for each particular bean origin; and the delivery, so it reaches your door on day 3 bursting with flavor and aroma.

As customers of Rowster Coffee you are expressing your passion for the best, treating yourself to something special--a small indulgence.  You love the adventure of trying new origins, like going on a safari to the Kenya Highlands or bird watching in the Costa Rican Rainforest…  That’s why at Rowster Coffee we don’t make up names for our coffees.  The name is the Origin--true to the place and its people.  And you are the anthropologist, explorer, historian, food critic, art enthusiast.  Each order brings new understanding and appreciation.  It’s an investment in cultivating your senses and it is a statement that says you are different, you care.

The Rowster Coffee Vision

  1. Transparent supply chain—through our website we will highlight each producer’s farm, community and family, see the coffee trees, look out across the valley, hear their story.
  2. Cupping Room/Café—where you can sample a variety of coffees before selecting the right cup or bag of whole beans.  Business services will be offered in a casual, open atmosphere, such as wireless access, library, small meeting area where customers can do business or just relax and soak up the coffee culture.
  3. Bicycle delivery service—to local businesses, homes, and marina will be established to service customers with a simple phone call.
  4. Coffee Tours—through a partnership with travel professionals and our relationships with the farmers we will offer the opportunity to visit a coffee farm, learn about the ecology, culture, geography and history of this important crop.  Meet the people who grow your coffee, see the coffee trees.
  5. Direct Buying—Establish direct buying relationships with small farmers to ensure that they are being compensated fairly for their crop,
  6. Charity—We are currently in the midst of a selection process to partner with and share profits with a non-profit organization that supports excellence and delivers on the promise by using its resources to pay for actual projects--Art, children’s education,  student travel abroad, economic development, technology—to name a few.
  7. Brain Trust—Create a network of people passionate about coffee and business to exchange ideas and innovations for the future.
